Declaration is the first album from Oakland artist Dalaun (Dah-Lawn) and she did not disappoint. The two singles proceeding the album were “Beggin’ & Feel the Distance”. This entire piece of music, in my opinion, is one of the greatest albums released in 2019. No need to hit skip honey, you can breeze right through and catch all these vibes. It’s rare these days to want to listen to a project in its entirety but Declaration is worth it. Dalaun's voice is unique in the quality of her tone and rasp. The sultry smoothness of her low tones is a welcoming distinction in today's climate. Background vocals were done by Brandon Harris, Shakale Davis, and Myia Thornton which added a beautiful depth. The vocal arrangements also done by Shakale POP! alright! The writing on this album is highly relatable and puts you in good kind of feelings. The production enhances every lyric and feelings. GET INTO THIS OKAY!
